In 2010, they released approximately 5.2 Tg of NO x (20% of total emissions), 11.0 Tg of SO 2 (40%) and 0.96 Tg of PM 2.5 (8%) (estimated by MEIC v1.2). Of the industrial boilers in China, 85% are coal-fuelled.
